Product Warranty Policy

This Warranty Policy applies to all insulation and building protection products supplied by Avon Synthetics
(“we”, “us”, “our”).
This policy should be read in conjunction with our Terms of Service. 
1. Warranty Overview
Avon Synthetics warrants that, at the time of supply, its products are free from defects in material andvmanufacture.
Subject to the conditions set out in this policy, Avon Synthetics provides a 70-year product warrantyvcommencing from the date of installation.
This warranty applies to the product only and does not cover installation workmanship unless expressly agreedvin writing.
2. Warranty Performance Statement
For the purposes of this warranty, and under normal conditions of use, Avon Synthetics products are designed to perform in accordance with their stated specifications when tested and installed in accordance with relevant Australian Standards, the National Construction Code (NCC), and manufacturer guidelines. 
3. Warranty Conditions
This warranty applies only where the product has been:
- Installed by suitably qualified and competent tradespersons
- Installed in compliance with the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Australian Standards
- Used for its intended application
- Properly handled and stored prior to installation
- Not altered, modified, or damaged after installation
4. What Is Covered?
Subject to this policy, the warranty covers:
- Manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship
- Product failure directly attributable to a manufacturing fault
- Failure to meet declared product performance characteristics when correctly installed
Where a valid warranty claim is accepted, Avon Synthetics will, at its discretion:
- Replace the defective product, or
- Refund the cost of the defective product
Replacement or refund is limited to the original product supplied.
5. What Is Not Covered?
This warranty does not cover loss, damage, or performance issues arising from:
- Incorrect or non-compliant installation
- Installation not in accordance with manufacturer instructions or Australian Standards
- Damage caused by moisture ingress, condensation, flooding, leaks, fire events
- Building movement, structural failure, or poor building design
- Inadequate ventilation or environmental conditions
- Chemical exposure, corrosion, pests, vermin, or rodents
- Physical damage, abuse, neglect, or misuse
- Normal wear and tear not related to a manufacturing defect
- Labour costs associated with removal, reinstallation, or access
- Consequential or indirect loss (to the extent permitted by law)
Avon Synthetics does not warrant installation workmanship unless expressly agreed in writing.
6. Warranty Claim Process
To make a warranty claim, the claimant must provide:
1.Proof of purchase
2.Product identification details
3.Installation date and installer details
4.Description of the alleged defect
5.Photographic evidence (where requested)
Claims must be submitted in writing to:

Avon Synthetics reserves the right to:
- Inspect the product (on-site or otherwise)
- Request additional information
- Reject claims where warranty conditions have not been met.

7. Damage During Transport, Delivery Or Storage
Any damage or shortages must be reported within 24 hours of delivery or collection.
Failure to notify within this timeframe may result in the claim being declined.
Damage caused after delivery or collection, including during handling or storage, is not covered by this warranty.
8. Limitation Of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Avon Synthetics’ liability under this warranty is limited to the replacement or refund of the defective product only.
Avon Synthetics is not liable for:
- Labour costs
- Removal or reinstallation costs
- Loss of use
- Economic or consequential loss
9. Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
This warranty is provided in addition to, and does not exclude, restrict, or modify, any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.
10. Transferability 
This warranty applies to the original installation location and remains valid for the warranty period, provided all conditions of this policy are met.

This Warranty Policy is governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia
